Mining truck bodies for every site.
With the use of finite Element Analysis and years of experience in fatigue-tolerant design, Volumax bodies are designed to outlast the competition. The use of high strength steels (Hardox 450) with good wear properties are utilised in place of extensive wear packages and contribute to a low tare weight. This enables the highest possible payload and/ or a reduction in tyre loading. The Volumax range of truck bodies are designed to be site specific to meet each site’s needs and can be used on all off highway rigid frame trucks.
The Volumax advantage:
- Optimised Payload
- Greater Productivity
- Reduced maintenance
- Match capabilities with the loading machine
- Reduced hang-up
- Potential reductions in fleet size
- Reduced tyre damage
- Reduced haul road maintenance by minimising spillage
- Reduced operator discomfort
Volumax
Jaws Volumax bodies are designed to maximise or optimise the volumetric capacity in order to consistently achieve the highest possible nominal or target payload whilst conforming to OEM payload policies. Jaws designs and manufactures these trays to achieve near perfect match pass loading.
Jaws Volumax use a true field capacity, rather than the industry accepted SAE 2:1 calculation to offer a truck body that achieves target .
Volumax +
The Jaws Volumax+ is designed & engineered as a light weight yet long life product with a revolutionary hoisting system, Volumax+ Bodies are custom designed to maximise target payload and are available for all models of off-highway rigid frame trucks.
Jaws Volumax+ meets the specifications to conform to any nominated host truck, allowing you to maintain full OEM warranty, whilst improving productivity. Jaws Volumax+ use a true field capacity, rather than the industry accepted SAE 2:1 calculation to offer a truck body that achieves target payload.
OEM bodies
Jaws manufacture all types of OEM style truck bodies that we design based on each site's needs . We work closely with the manufacturer to ensure compatibility whilst designing the body to achieve the site target payload requested by the customer.
We take into consideration:
+ True loose densities of the lightest to heaviest materials
+ Capability / limitations of the loading machine
+ Impact involved in loading
+ Material Abrasion
