Water Trucks

Jaws' range of rigid chassis water trucks are suitable for mounting to any make rigid chassis truck from 20,000 litres to 340,000 litres capacity and are designed within each truck manufacturer's specifications of load limit and axle load distribution.

All functions are powered using body hoist hydraulic power to drive a rear mounted water pump. Water is delivered to independently controlled spray heads, a front or rear mounted water cannon or auxiliary hose reel assembly as required. High pressure hydraulic filtration protects the hydraulic system whilst additional oil cooling capability maintains the hydraulic system at optimum temperature.

All functions are monitored from the operator's cab including water cannon flow, joystick direction control and navigation and warning light control. Tank water level is observed from the operator's cab to manage effective dust control circuits with an adjustable pulse spray option to prevent excessive watering and conserve tank capacity.

An eye-level console screen is available to indicate visual status and enable function change on-the-fly. An automatic speed control function which progressively reduces spray output at slow speeds is provided in addition to an emergency rapid response stop switch.

Additional options are also available including additional rear or front spray heads, manual or hydraulic rewind hose reel, dual closed circuit TV cameras, additional water cannon, fixed or folding guard rail, additional navigation or work lights.
