1. Welding Inspector

Duties include

  • Developing weld procedures & work instructions and apply
  • Undertaking welding inspection on work in progress
  • Provide welding technical guidance and training
  • Carry out welding inspections in regards to NDT & prepare and process test coupons
  • Maintenance of Welding Quality registers
  • Review of contract work regard to welding
  • Maintenance for PQR's

Essential requirements:

  • Min 3 years experience in the field of welding inspection preferably in a heavy engineering environment
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Welding Practices and Non destructive testing
  • AS2214 or AS1796 ticket or international welding inspector basic (IWI B) qualification as recognised by Australian Standards
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
